Bereavement Ministry

The Bereavement Ministry of the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus serves the mourning families with comfort, support and healing through a loss.

• Meet with the family in planning the funeral services and reviewing the funeral guidelines
• Send sympathy cards to the bereaved family
• Facilitate in the wake and funeral services
• Annually, send invitation to the family of the deceased to attend the All Soul’s Day Memorial Mass especially offered for their beloved dead.
  
  

To be a member of this ministry gives one the opportunity to grow spiritually by showing your love, compassion and service within the community of God.

This ministry is a calling to serve with a generous heart and willingness to share time, talent and treasure with our neighbors in need because of the loss of a loved one.
